Cynthia Chang

Cynthia Chang is in her 22nd year serving as board member of  the Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District. She also served 4 years of the Saratoga Union School District prior to joining LGSUHSD. She is currently serving as president of APISBMA. Cynthia is a CPA and holds a MBA degree from California State University, Los Angeles. She was recognized as Woman of the Year for Assembly District 24 in 2010 for “her outstanding record of public service over the past two decades.” Her community involvement includes serving s BSA Troop 508 Committee Chair for 6 years, Co-Chair of City of Saratoga’s Memorial Day Observance event for 3 years, co-organizer of Saratoga Rotary Club Building Bridge event, and a founding board of Chinese Historical and Cultural Project, a non-profit organization that fundraised, built and gifted a Chinese museum to the city of San Jose, where the museum is located in History Park at Kelley Park. Cynthia believes in cultural competence, global citizenship, academic excellence and social-emotional wellbeing for all children and APISBMA can play an integral role in achieving these goals by working with other organizations.
