Shelley Ryan, Board Member

Raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Shelley earned her Degree in English from the University of British Columbia, Masters in Education Psychology, and Masters in Administration and Leadership. Shelley and Kelly, a Civil Litigation and Business attorney in Pasadena and Monrovia have live in San Marino for three decades and have three wonderful children whom have graduated from college-Caitlin, Simon Fraser; Kieran, UC Berkeley; and Justin, UC Santa Barbara. Shelley has been President on the San Marino School Board, 2018, 2021, 2023, 2024, Vice President and Director of Programs for the Los Angeles School Trustee Association, APISBMA Vice President of Southern California and on the Pasadena City College President's Board as President & Director of Programs. Shelley directed the Peer Counseling and Conflict Mediation program, led curriculum and instruction, and was senior advisor for college admissions and counseling in the Alhambra Unified School District. With continued passion and enthusiasm in education, Shelley has been a school administrator for TK-12 schools in Alhambra and Monterey Park.
