Caroline Que Anderson was elected to the La Cañada Unified School District Board of Education in 2020. She is the first Asian American woman to serve on the board. Caroline has brought her grassroots energy to policy decisions that best advance the interests of all students. Caroline is a dedicated volunteer not just to the school district but also to her community. Caroline is on the Executive Board of the La Cañada Flintridge Tournament of Roses, Kiwanis Club of La Cañada, La Cañada Sister Cities Association, as well as being a member of the La Cañada Junior Women's Club, La Cañada Flintridge Chinese Club, and is an Ambassador for the La Cañada Flintridge Chamber of Commerce. In 2023 she was awarded the Woman of Distinction by Chris Holden, Assemblyman for the 41st Assembly District as well as Congresswoman Judy Chu, representing California's 28th Congressional District, Woman of the Year Award.
